Today in class after all our english works finished, my english teacher made us watch this english movie. FREEDOM WRITERS this movie really touched my heart. After watching this movie; i have learnt that, Everyone is born to be good. It is always the surroundings and environment that turns people, especially teenagers in doing all the wrong things. However, someone must stand out and be strong enough to turn all these guys into the right direction in their life and this movie tells us how.
Based on a true story it showed how a teacher had enough passion in her job to challenge the system finds a way to unify her disadvantaged, racially divided students, and to improve their grasp of academics, partly by having them keep journals about their violent, troubled lives.Makes you wonder if you could do the same or have enough motivation and passion for ur job as compared to what she did. Although you won't find teens in sch in this region going through the trouble as the teens in the movie but still if what she did in the movie was brought here and implemented i believe there would be less troubled students and people would be able to express themselves more and enjoy the learning and education system.
What I loved most: Great Storyline especially when its true
What I really hated: If only they covered more of the after story where the movie ended.
